Im Nick from Australia, i have been an active member on "the hunter's lair" fourms for almost a year now and have just found out about this forum. I have just recently completed my first ever costume, and it had to be my favourite sci-fi creature the Xenomorph.

I just attended my first convention wearing the suit and won best costume. I'm a big fan of the aliens series and most sci fi series aswell. Just saying hi and looking forward to trading and chatting with you all.

My friend Nick (il1keme) told me about this place, right now I'm trying to find marines armour so I can dress up as Hicks for an anime convention that's happening in april next year. So I'm currently looking for a full set to buy, I've found a site http://spatcave.com/mojarm.htm, but it takes 6 to 8 months to be made and + for shipping. So if you guys could help that would be great, because I'm actually really confused at how you move around this forum. Thanks though

Welcome new recruits. All I got to say about navigating site is come on in and explore. hehe.

As for armor. I dare say that most of us wear Spat armor. I do know a few have made their own. I maybe wrong here but other then have Mr. English make you a set Spat's is the way to go. Well worth the wait.

Well not a newbie BUT it has been a while. For the benefit of the newer members who have only heard the songs of my round the mead tables, I shall blessen thee with a little of me.

I come from the distant shores of the N. East of England (It feels like that as there's only 2 of us from up here ).

I am the taller, younger Brian Blessed (think that sums it up pretty well). If Baz has told you anything, I RAIDED & SACKED Leicester with my stolen street cleaner & my trusty carrier bags of stowing stuff (Hey this is what Baz dreams of 'bout me, he's got the issues :p ). Thus the LEGEND of TECKNO VIKING came into being.

I first met this chickensh*t outfit at the London Comic Con in 07 (though been a board member for a fair few years). There I saw what a great bunch of peeps the UKCM was & had my first encounter with the Anime fans (SQUISHY) & since then I am BEAR HUG KING!!

I have attended a few drops but alas have yet to make the biggie D*Con one Wives eh!! Even the Great TECKNO VIKING fears them.

Well I'm a nice guy really, honest though can get excited & loud. In the time away from the board I've been busy bringing up my 3 daughters but have taken to an access course at the local college, so I may attend uni next year for the Mental Health Nursing course.

Anyway there you go.
