The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hello all, It’s been along time Since I have been on the boards (2004). I’m getting back into collecting props again. I contacted Terry English about getting a set of armor. I did talk to him on the phone last week. He said I would be number 6 on the list and that his assistant would contact me. I have not heard from his assistant nor do I have away of contacting the person. I found some e-mail address and sent another email through Terry’s website and Facebook.

I have been trying to get a set from him for over 10 years. I finally have a foot in the door to get one, but I’m not going to call and bother him on the phone. So if anyone here has the contact info and could message me it I would be very grateful.

Hello,

Try contacting via Rob. Be patient as it could take a while.

Yes he is. Rob is running point for Terry. He might even be the 'assistant' Terry referenced.

Looks like the “large” sets are being hammered on right now. Do hopefully by May I’ll have a set in my hands.

I’m going to assume that Rob painted (Painting) the set. Terry had some health problems last year from my understanding.

Stumbled upon a post asking about how to hang the hand welder from Chris “FNG”. Chris took this picture of myself and another legacy member back in 2003 at Dragoncon. I always enjoyed talking to Chris each year.

I enquired a couple of months ago and the price has doubled. I was in at £2500, even £3K at a push but couldn't justify significantly more so I was a gutted to be honest.

So the current cost is £5,000 UKP - is that right?

Yes £5000 for a standard size set, +£500 for small or larger size. I should have bought one years ago but wasnt in the financial position then, but Im not in a position now at 5K either.

It's made by the master and he's not getting any younger so it's worth it in my opnion, but just not obtainable for me.
