The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

A possibilty to run the Flash file is the use of a Raspberry Pi 3B (no 3b+, no 4, no3A whatever). Still available in numbers on evilbay. The only os which supports the download of Gnash (the Flash Player) is

Raspbian Stretch 2017-09-07. So this might encourage some of you to do as Simon and i did.

I also have a image file of my os (including proper Colors, installed Gnash and swf File and a Grid Splash Screen) which i can share.

But as i said this only runs on a Raspberry Pi 3B.

I have spent weeks trying to get it to work on the latest raspbian build to no avail. I may try converting it to an exe and see if I can run emulation that way as I have not tried that avenue yet...

The only other thing I Have not tried is using adobes cloud shockwave software and converting it to html5. If I can lay hands on source files, I can make it work I think. That is my only hold up on trying more conversion utilities...

Would you need the original files from the chap who did the software?

I've used a 7" digital photo frame that I picked up cheap. It can do photo or video so I've grabbed the demo video of the software running and got that running on the frame.

Also used an online SWF to EXE convertor to make the software run on PC, not sure how useful it will be though :).

.exe will not work on a pi. The Pi's use the cortex ARM processor and wine or other emulation programs require the intel based processors to function.

I am working on a replacement solution that I am trying to build from the ground up in python that runs as an equivalency.

This is an older thread on the similar topic and it has some nice specs:
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1168

It also has a link to an original qbasicv1 dos program that runs in DOSBox but not really that will run on the gridcase units.

That thread also has specs on the grid case computers as well. So I do hope that helps everyone. If anyone has posted in that thread, please update the photo links.
