The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I know the board is overflowing with quality dropship builds since Stephen210 updated his molds and made new ones for the copilot/gunner bits.
I decided to jump on his new offerings, as well as that of legend Jesse DeGraff, to get a new video out.

Here is the new Video! Checks in shy of 43 mins. Not exactly short but pretty fast paced in my opinion.
If you like it be sure to blah blah blah. you know the stuff.

Background:
As some know I built a size 'large' "Ferro" helmet a few years ago.
Here I take a size 'regular' (aka SMALL) SPH-4 I acquired in trade (Thanks retrogarde!)
I transplant the visor cover off the first build to the smaller helmet.
I then use Stephen and Jesse's new kits with a modified visor cover on the original 'large' helmet.

Overall very happy! I think it all turned out great and hope you like it.

Great job on the helmet and the video! (We really need a thumbs up icon!)

A nitpicking detail:
It is somewhat hard to tell from the available images, but I think they kept the magnetic field sensor (qube with screw flange) on top of the actual rapier sight in its original black color.

There's also a small, black and white sticker on the unit's left side. It's possibly a sticker of the original sight unit, but sadly it doesn't match up with the stickers on the known original sight units and is impossible to read. (So theres room for a personal touch  )

Cheers
Stefan

Yes. The original optic had a decal at that location. You can see that in Jesse casting.
