Actually, that's a parody of a character called Captain Canuck. Minus the moose antlers, the good Captain was a forerunner of todays thriving independent comics companies. His outfit was later "re-arranged" and became Vindicator of Alpha Flight- Marvel Comics. |

Vindicator then became a female character and the male equivalent is now called the Guardian. Marvel just rebooted the Alpha Flight comic series. Both Vindicator and the Guardian looked like they are part of the Canadian speed skating team. My wife made a pretty sweet Snowbird costume from Alpha Fligh |
