The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

(I was joking about the "manning" bit)

I wish the internet was a little more clear.

Note to self: make more frequent use of those stupid smileys.

I wasn't singling you out... it's just for general info. Everyone stood by the table, but those dedicated enough to sit at it to ensure our spot was secure is something else.

No harm, no foul.

If anyone needs I have the following.

Plastic ribbon holders.

1 - 4 ribbon
2 - 6 ribbon
1 - 9 ribbon

these are the 1/8th inch spaced ones.
willing to trade any or a couple for an 8 ribbon holder.

If I get an 8 holder I will have a 7 I won't need. hehe

Just say here if you want one of the above and then PM me your shipping info.

Thanks

Maryland Crew...U.S.S. Terrapin

I did not participate in the colony sweep except for keeping up with everyone and getting pics, but I was there and in the parade.

It stands for Dave.

You and I had a nice long conversation about your career in the Canadian Army and the old Cougar and I can't remember the name of the new vehicle you were speakiing of that replaced the Cougar. I talked about my time in the Marines in F.A.S.T Company

Dom, just curious what the policy is on ribbons for colonists and does it make a difference if I'm working my way toward armor/uniform this year?

combat drop
Active duty in a recognized uniform and/or combat gear in the service of any international
Colonial Marine Corps at an organized public event where civilians may witness operations.

All rules and regs are on page 1... although I love you WY uniform, it isn't Colonial Marine. Our bugs have the same issue as well... although they're part of the family, it doesn't make them Earth military.

No worries, Dom. It's why I hadn't asked.

Next year, though....

Awesome vehicle!!!

I would like to put myself in for the Operations Merit for manning the table at Dragon Con during the sweep and Baltimore ribbon 2.

I have done Dropship pilot at all the events.

Done.

MARINES! Please read the rules and terms of use on page 1 if you are not familiar with them. I am told that some of you are applying for ribbons at drops where you were in civilian attire (ie WY Techs, etc). These ribbons are military decorations for Marines in uniform.

Thanks,

Hi Dom!

3 Atlanta 2 San Diego 3 WonderCon (SF)

I think I did at least an hour at the table this year. If so please add that in as well and a Chris Memorial Ribbon if possible.

Thanks!

Dave has been jumping out the APC door when you were jumping out the school bus door, Spectre. He deserves a break every once in awhile.

Now Mr. Sniper, for your disrespect to a senior Colonial Marine, drop to the deck and with that Barrett 50 on your back, pump out 25 of your very best.
You got me, Marine?

Mike

I don't seen anything of yours on this thread prior to DCon. If you sent it by PM, this may be why it's not yet done.

Guys & girls, please don't send ribbon requests by PM.
