The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hey guys!

I will be at this expo with Cinebook, the company I work for. Never been there, so I don't know if it's very costume-friendly; but if other Marines/Xenos are going to be there, I could probably lug my armour over and troop along.

So... Anyone going?

Country: United Kingdom
I haven't been to Bristol for a few years now, but the costume scene was getting bigger and bigger over the years that I did go (2005-2007).
I know that the UKG go each year.

I was thinking of going, since I'm going to be in the UK for it for the first time in a few years, and it's always a good con. However I probably wouldn't costume because I would mainly be attending the panels rather than mulling around.

Obviously, living in Bristol I've been a few times. They have moved it out of the Brunel Sheds which was rammed full and difficult to move about in regular civvies, let alone costume. I see this year that they are offering day passes rather than tying you in to full on hotel booking to attend.

This means I really don't have an excuse not to attend, and happy to offer up our place for people to stay. :D
