Listen Up Marines. Jameson Cult Film Club, are screening ALIENS @ Great Northern in a warehouse in manchester. They are willing to pay both marines. Myself will be attending as a Colonial Marine and i need another Colonial Marine. The chap would like another Marine with full Armor as he wants it as authentic as possible. He's requsted the extras to be there for 4pm. Please see below for the information. Anymore information please contact me through PM. Will need to know by the end of tomorrow. We are looking to hire two Colonial Marine extras for a screening of Aliens at the Great Northern (in a warehouse) in Manchester. The screening will be part of the Jameson Cult Film Club Series which screens cult films in interesting and unusual spaces. Hi Callum, I would like to give you some background on the event and some details about the night. Jameson Cult Film Club is a marketing campaign for Jameson Whiskey which tours the country screening the best cult films, in unusual locations which we dress to look like the film set. On Thursday November 25th Jameson Cult Film Club is coming to Manchester to screen arguably one of the most famous cult films ever Aliens (1986). The event will take place in a warehouse space within The Great Northern on Deansgate in the centre of Manchester. The doors open to the event at 7pm and the guests will enter, explore take their drinks and sit down and wait for the film to start. The film will start at 8pm and will run until approximately 10:30pm at which points guests will be invited to stay for another drink and after party. The event will have local and national press and radio coverage and is in partnership with Empire magazine and The Guardian. We would like you and another member of the UK Colonial Marines to attend our event in full Military uniforms with guns and act as characters from the colonial marines in the film. We would like you to walk up and down the queue and make sure that everyone is human and there are no ‘androids’ or xenomorphs. Once all the guests are inside we would like you to follow and start hunting for the aliens in the venue. We have a performer with a xenomorph costume who will be lurking in the shadows we would like you to search for him through the guests. In order to help you guys get into character and acclimatise we would like you to come to the venue at 2pm where you will be able to drop of your belongings and get changed and I will show you the venue and help you come up with a few lines that you can say to the guests. Obviously we greatly appreciate your involvement and if there are any othe colonial marines that wish to attend I would be glad to include them into our creative narrative. We will pay for your travel and also pay you for acting. We only have a small budget for this so once I know how many of you there will be I can work out a fee if that is okay. If you need any more information please do not hesitate to ask. |

When you capture the Alien, make use of "Enhanced Interrogation" techniques and get it's name and email etc. I want to expand the hive! |

Right, well. Where all sorted for this evening. I'll try and get as many pictures as possible. Hopefully we'll be able to get some good media coverage. If the radio's are invloved i suppose it will be broadcasted to some Manchester stations? No idea. Hopefully it will be a brilliant night. =] Can't wait.
