Our ship is the Valhalla, as for an official patch nothing has been decided tho various designs have been proposed.

As Lt of the 'booters I reserve the right to final approval of any unit insignia :)

Excellent Si.

That is looking and sounding sweet.

Just need to make them. My left breast plate is cold with one.

I have a contact who makes these in full embrodery. If you would like me to contact him.

Your call Lt

If I see another patch design saved as JPEG, I'm gonna vomit on my monitor. Then everything will have sweetcorn, carrots and JPEG artefacts on it.

JPEG for photos, PNG for solid colour/line-art please!

Teckno Viking had me working on patch designs back in December 2007... but nothing came of it. :?

Viking longship/great hall kind of thing.

GIFs are fine for line-art etc providing you don't use gradients, proper transparency or more than 256 colours - it's an obsolete format IMO. The only real reason to use GIFs is animation (yuk!).

I don't mind, just repeat after me: "JPEG is a digital photo format!".

Right,

I've got the deal. So i will be asking how much it is for 20 patches.

Since these will be full embrodery patches. They will be more pennies than the original UKCM patches.

Will get the total up soon.

Si, i've re-designed this patch alil, only the shield in the middle. I realised that you have put the USA shield in it so i put the saint georges shield in it. Hope it's alright?

Hey Si,

With me being outta the loop for awhile. I take it we`re not going with either of the one`s Steve or Martin did (just been seaching AL for the old thread)?
So Paul`s doing a brand new design? Or Paul`s getting the patches done for us?

Have to say I am looking forward to having proper "HMS Valhalla" & "Freebooter" 13th batt patches :D

While I like both of those, the 'taster' that Troon showed me was really good (with a couple of mods). TBH I see no reason why we shouldn't have one for the FB and one for the FBSAS...?

Ooooooo so like a standard FB patch & a "Heavy weapons" FB patch? Or is the "Heavy Weapons" going to be the standard & then there`s the FBSAS?

I look forward to seeing what Paul has enticed you with, sounds really interesting :D
