The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I would bloody love to go.
Reckon they'd allow 2Pat instead of multicam? ;)

Hm - 'Wall Crew?
Reckon we can somehow do this?

Think they'd allow a rupert in near-as-damnit screen accurate ODs? :)

Site says they'll be enforcing a strict uniform policy and mentions multicam.

It's a bit pricey, but I could be tempted if the rest of the Wall crew was going down.

Oh, and what's the LARP / Airsoft ratio? :)

Yes Screen accurate uniforms are most welcom...
Theyve just said multicam as most people havn't got minty costumes like us chaps!..They tend to want to have patches on the multicam though.

Im going in my UD4 Flight Gear, just to be different and just armed with a pistol.(sig 226)..unless i can get my MP7 fixed in time!

As for LARP /Airsoft ratio... Its objective and story based airsoft with extra spanners in the works..just to try and hinder objectives being taken or completed..

The "Aliens" had the marines pinned in their re-spawn last time as no one playing marines wanted to leave the re-spawn area...fear factor working right there!!

That as much as i know about it so far..

I will try and dig more from a mate whos helping run it, (all the advertising is his work) but hes a bit reluctant to spoil anything..

only problem with marines turning up, is that its a low cap only game. so unless you can find some short non winding thompson mags, the pulseys are gonna have to stay at home :(

i live 5 mins from the place, but probably not gonna go just down to all the uniform and weapon restrictions

These, but chopped down maybe..?

I'm sure they'd love to see M41-As there, maybe they would be allowed but on semi only? Or with a half-filled magazine? Could be worth asking...

The Airsoft skirmish site I got to, called P.O.W. (Players of War) in Bonnybridge, is organising a WW2 Militray sim day later this year and they only allow Low-caps and certain Mid-cap mags during the military sim day.
However, if you don't have any lo-caps or mid-cap mags and can't get a loan from somebody they will let you use a hi-Cap but only on semi auto and you can only take one hi-cap mag, after all a lo-cap holds 60rnds and a hi-cap 420rnds.
So it might be worth checking with the folk who've organized this event they might agree.

That bunker complex looks absolutely fab.

Too bad it's just too far and expensive to go for one day.
