The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

On behalf of the UKG, I would like to thank you for your generous donation to our charities. We shall let each charity know about your donation and support.

I'll give you a brief synopsis of our main charities:

Make-A-Wish grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses.

MediCinema brings the magic of cinema to patients in hospital.

NSPCC - Stops cruelty to children.

The UKCM worked extremely hard at the NSC, it was truly an honour working along side you. You all deserve a big slap on the back for your charity work. Kudos!

On behalf of Make A Wish, Medicinema and the NSPCC, we thank you for the donation and kindness.

You guys rock!

Tony

Did someone say HUGS? Did someone say BEAR HUGS??

A TWO Group HUG eh?? TECKNO VIKING is UP TO the challenge & by Odin`s power I shall endeavour :D

Must admit as said already,BOTH groups do indeed deserve BIG praise for the money raised :D

All took a professional approach & we all had fun & banter with each other the whole weekend.

I came away with new friends from BOTH groups too :D

In Odin`s name You are all Warriors of Charity.
So say`s Teckno Viking.

Was a pleasure to be there with you all :D

As a long-standing UKG member and a relatively new UKCM member, I can honestly say that I'm proud of both 'clubs' and had a blast at the NSC.
I even had a sneaky tear in my eye at the auction when the UKG and the UKCM put their money together after rival-bidding for Mantroon's face; but in my defence, I WAS a little drunk!!

Like Jason, I too have made new friends, my Facebook account is bulging now!

Yep the head Honcho of the grunts, technically Munkey should be an Officer really.

Agreed Hary`s the General in Charge of the Colonial Marines, though Munkey SHOULD be the Field CO of the UKCM groundpounders.

Captain MunkeyBoy.

"Why don't you put her in charge?!"

Yeah thanks Tony, UKG are pro's, every time.

UKG are a great example when it comes to fund raising as well as costuming.

And when I've been to other events the UKG have always made me feel welcome;
it's always great to catch up with you fellas.

Great talking with you and Phil at the dinner, too.
Despite Phil's alarming appetite for mustard.

And well done to the 'Troon for setting up the UKCM fund.

EVERYBODY'S 'APPY!

Great talking with you at dinner too, and working with you in the AE. And yes, I'm sorry about the mustard thing which from here on shal only be refered to as 'The Unpleasant Incident'. I'm still farting mustard gas even now...
