Post subject: | Hello again, and farewell! |
Hi guys! I'm Phil Quicksaber, I joined the UKCM years ago, but only did a couple of drops, both at the NSC. One of which was the awesome Aliens Encounter/Experience which was absolutely brilliant! Anyhow, I've been inactive for years but kept all my gear in the loft as I couldn't bare to part with it. New Years Eve we went to a fancy-dress party, and I decided to throw on the Camo Slippers one last time. Man, I LOVE the Marine Corps! Anyway, we are selling our house and plan to down-size, so sadly my gear will have to finally go. I thought I would see if there was any interest here first before I try the usual eBay or Facebook Group things. I would rather some or all of it went to fellow Marines if any of you guys have use for it. Forgive me, I haven't checked the protocol for selling on this Forum, I will look through the rules and see how/where I can sell my gear, and list the specifics with photos later, but for those curious it's basically BDUs, Boots, Spat Armour painted by myself (including Bess Brown), Metal Helmet, Airsoft Pulse Rifle with air soft motor deactivated to be Drop-safe, and also to use the trigger cables for a soundboard instead, Belt harness with resin grenades, felt pouches and sidearm in holster, Belt tool, wristwatch, various UKCM patches, plastic grenade storage box with a couple of metal grenades. I will be keeping my dog tags for posterity! Questions welcome! Thanks, Phil. |

I guess you'd prefer to sell it as a bulk lot, but if not [fussed], I'd be keen on your 'various UKCM patches' (& probably the watch too). Just putting it out there ![]() |

Hybrid, thanks for the thought, but sadly I'm pretty sure it's unlikely. However, out of curiosity, where is the Drip? Aron, ideally I do want to sell as a job lot, though maybe would separate the Pulse Rifle. However, a lot of the patches are still loose, if a buyer of the armour doesn't require some or all of them then I promise you may have first refusal! |

Ooooh now I've seen your sales thread ![]() If I had the $$$, I'd be keen on your armour etc. Cheers re 1st offer ![]() Not meaning to be a dick about it / "push my agenda" but you're arguably get better results if you split things up. Esp for things like the Racal. Some things might not move for ages though [depending on price of course]. I completely understand wanting to avoid the multi-buyer shipping hassle, still you can bump the prices of each piece a little to reflect that of course. Just my [unsolicited] $0.02 ![]() Good luck with your sale, some cool liking stuff! |

Thanks Aron! Yeah, I'm sure you're right but to be honest because it's for a house move I'd prefer it all gone as one hit for convenience. However, obviously if I get no interest within a reasonable time I'll look to revisiting my options! Just out of curiosity, aside from the patches, what other items would you be interested in if I was to split? |
