The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

After you guys have made me feel so welcome I hope im not going to offend the purists here so I wont refer to my pulse as an M41 ill refer to it as a mk 2 if that's ok?
I found a thread on the RPf that followed "Quest's nerf conversion.
So the base units were a Nerf Recon for the body, Longshot Front Gun for the front/grenade launcher, and the Raider's sliding stock. The rest inc shroud,, magazine etc.. were made in styrene and body filler. The main reason for doing this project is I wanted a pulse rifle that can fire grenades too, let me know your thoughts or criticisms.
I'll update tomorrow.. please see my other thread for the mental things ive done lol.

I'm hoping to make the stock still extend and retract.

the trigger circled in red was removed from the longshot and put in the front of the recon, with strips of styrene attached to fire the grenade launcher

its going good at the moment....

We're not purists here, so if it looks like an M41-A, you can call it an M41-A. :)

Promising start, looks great!
Love the idea of using the Longshot's little gun as a grenade launcher

Cheers,
Doug
