The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Cheers for sending me this way and humouring my many questions about your outfits.

I figure I'm going to get my BDUs, with patches, boots etc, first so that I can have an active uniform ASAP. After looking around it seems that Spat is the way to go but I was curious if there are any alternatives that would be recommended. Following on from that I expect I'll order Chef's armour, probably in the next month or two. In the meantime I have the Snow Wolf Pulse Rifle in that glorious blue to repaint and work on. Time to get shopping...

And that's his Facebook page liked! Thanks PVB, I've got to say it's nice joining a community that actually lives up to that community spirit.

Welcome aboard Craig of course if you want an economy option there is also the Polish Desert Camo BDU's which work out a fair bit cheaper and available this side of the pond. :-)

Thanks Winch. I'd considered going for the Polish BDU alternative but have decided to save that little bit extra that little bit longer and go for near screen BDUs.

I agree with you all the way, the polish BDU is ok but the screen accurate stuff is best, 2 of us were wearing the hard to find MAA 2nd patt but Tony was in the Spat camos which do look good!

As an aside, I was talking to the guy who was on here who had the genuine BDU's that he had won and his ex had returned to him, he said the MAA camo was perfect to the real things

Cheers for the welcome! Funny you mention that as we've been talking a fair bit about it and it's looking like most of my gear will be coming through Chef.
