The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

A little off topic i know, but I'm very hyped up about the NSC Aliens 25th Convention. I got a good feeling about it all and i look forward to meeting all my UKCM mates and making the friendship of a few more.

A big thanks in advance to all those who have worked their bollocks off to get this together and I'm sure it will be all worth their efforts.

Cant wait!

Richard :)

I should be excited but I'm not.

My friend in America who was sorting out my nametapes told me yesterday that she forgot to post them.

I can't find the green webbing I was going to use for temporary nametapes and the green ribbon I have is no good as it won't stop fraying.

I've still got to sew the patches onto my husband's flightsuit.

Then there's packing, sorting out the car and general household things that need doing before we leave.

It's doesn't sound much but I'm stressing about it big time. :(

Thing is... I started putting these flightsuits together pretty much as soon as the event was announced. So why aren't they done yet?!?!? *PANIC*

Definitely looking forwards to it. Not even packed yet and I'm heading down tomorrow so this could be interesting. Actually I'm that behind I haven't even had my dinner yet which is currently on order (too lazy to cook) but this is definitely gonna be fun. If you see a girl walking round in BDU's with short brown hair weilding a camera its probably me. Feel free to come say howdy

Sure as hell it will be...! I'm just about packin' my few things (just hand luggage) for my flight tomorrow midday going from Munich to Stanstead and then travelling on (presumably by coach) towards Leicester and if I do say so myself I'm actually gonna have a little contribution as a surprise with me probably for giving it out to be auctioned for the charity so fingers crossed they'll let me get on the plane with it although strictly speaking it might turn out to be a "second piece" of hand luggage...

Anyway, very much looking forward to this "Sci-Fi-weekend" of course. See you all there, nice one.

Yours

S.R. (Haddon)
