The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

You'll be able to take it with you fine, so long as youn inform US customs and comply with their laws and regulations.

Bringing it back is the problem. Plus the inherent dangers of baggage handling and misc transport...

Not sure if I like the thought of having it confiscated on the way back. Cost me damn near £800!

Even if you're VCRA registered, we have no idea how Customs at the UK airport will deal with a PR.

None of us have even tried to take a PR to D*Con, so it's at your own risk.

i have flown with a rif, and would say dont risk it. Taking it is easy, but You would need to paint the barrel red. To bring it home you will need to prove that you are allowed to have it under vcra and prove that you owned it before you flew over and not bought it in America.
You also have the hastle of two customs inspections each way, having to buy an airline approved lockable rifle case, letting airlines and customs know your taking it, the risk of loss and damage...
Its just not worth it.

Back on topic though, thanks for doing this again Rob. It was VERY much appreciated this year.
And guys, please only request a rifle if your definatly going!
Our brothers from over the pond put alot of effort into arming us, so please dont mess them around :)

Day-amn!!! A 2011 weapons list already? :)

If I make it, I'll bring everything I have. At the moment, that'd be an M56 (MINE! Sorry!), flamer, and PR (MAY still be in black at that point). Also have a Tanio Koba VP70M with stock, an old resin VP70 (if I can find it), and a dart gun VP70 (plus an MR tracker). In the definite works, another PR. In the ***possible*** works, ANOTHER M56 gun, vest, headset & arm. The gun is pending the airsoft group buy, the vest is mostly no-brainer, and the arm & headset pending me actually getting the arm parts cut in the next month or two (like I plan to) and the remaining masters for the headset & metal parts done.

Just thought I'd throw that out there :)
