The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I'd also think the background shaded colour could be OD green or similar instead of blue, but leaving the central flag colours as they are?

Fair one - do you not think that we need some variety, given that the PR poster would look too similar?... :) I prefer OD too but...

Looks great, agree with the changes Simon mentioned.

How would camo pattern look as a background?

Too busy?

You still have to photoshop Harry in there somewhere as well!

Should our charity web page address be on there too ? Not sure.

Edit: It would be interesting to see what it might look like with the green background.

Looking good.

I would agree with Sidewinder to change the Space Command to Colonial Marines.

Back ground colour- as Clanger68 suggested maybe camo, but not bold, just a hint of camo pattern? In muted green/yellow tones?

Cheers,
Karyn

If it looks similar to the pulse rifle poster that's not a bad thing. Branding.?

How about the flag like a subdued patch?

I think the thing to remember is that it is supposed to be a recruitment poster, so it should be eye catching. If it is all OD and subdued etc then it won't catch much of anything. If it's easy to do then perhaps you could do 3 or 4 samples with different colour backgrounds?

I would also like to see something a bit more tongue in cheek like the SST covers that Troon posted earlier.

I agree that the Space Command should be changed to Colonial Marines.

Cheers

Darren

Exactly. If you go green, with the green/BB marines, it starts looking less like a recruitment poster... and more like hunting lodge wallpaper. :)

Looks great!

You know what? That WY mug in Harry's hand doesn't look very tough does it?
I mean, he's the general so he should be holding an Alien head or something, shouldn't he? Any ideas?

Excellent work ADC

Seeing as Harry is a general give him a ceremonial spontoon, topped with a cheese triangle!

:)

I don't have that any larger, but it came with lots of others that I put on the Alien Encounter dvd. I'm not sure who took that pic.
Any one know? Has to be someone here or in the garrison.

I think Eagle is referring to the background colour of the post. It changes from green to black between posts as you know and I guess he wanted to show it against a black background so it would stand out more.

Cheers

Darren

I'd not actually noticed the black/green/black posts before you said it.

No, it's just 'on black' Different backgrounds will give differing perception of colour - black is more neutral than green. :)

Anyone else?
