The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hi All,

The whole Aliens weekend was absolutely outstanding, everything worked like a dream, I can't believe how much was crammed into it!

Hats off to Darren, ADC, Harry, Malika, Rich, Gareth and *everyone* else you worked their socks off to give us the best damn Aliens celebration ever! :D

A resounding success, handshakes all round. :D

I'd like to personally thank everyone who helped and contributed with exhibits to the Replica Display Stand, I think we did a good job in our corner and we got a lot of positive traffic through our area.

A big shout out to Karyn, Steve and Martin who were absolute gems all weekend, working the area like the consummate professionals they are.

Happy to work with you guys anytime, so generous with your time and assistance, Martin and Steve - owe you guys for covering so Karyn and I could take part in the photo shoot on Saturday.

Great to meet Jill as well.

I think between the display of finished replica props/costumes and the how to do it yourself section we gave an entertaining and informative display.

Solidarity Brothers & Sisters!

So many people lent stuff to the stand, I was beginning to lose count at one point!

Far too many to name individually but Thank You all, it was very kind of you to trust me with your precious items.

As a result of this kindness the stand really came alive and I think we covered pretty much all aspects of the movie.

Thank you also to those who covered the stand when they could, helped break it down and carry it back to the vehicles at the end of Sunday, all very much appreciated.

My only regret is we didn't have enough light!!!!

When we set up on Friday night we unknowingly did so to the cleaning lights, quite a shock on Saturday morning when we changed over to operational lights!

Thank you all, it was an honour to work with everyone and a pleasure contributing towards such a great weekend.

Andy.
