I don't have a costume or anything and my manky foot don't help but I'm happy to help out anyway i can, a gopher as it were. I can go around check up on guys and see if things are alright and just help out in whatever way i can and report back to the guys in charge. I'll have a rucksack on me, any light items you rather be entrusted with a person for a time you can leave it with me unless other arrangements are made. I did that last year with guys phones.

That's assuming things are still on course for me to be able to go, I'll find out on 24th Aug.

I'm looking forward to this.

Hi guys , chiming in late as usual !!

Scapey anything you wanna bring will be much appreciated on our stand as will clanger props Techno V and anyone else I havent named !! Hey Mr Viking and dredd bits ??
As usual we will have a bit of everything but we also plan on some Aliens stuff to fit in with the event so if you are doubled up on any props you are most welcome to display on ours

Andy will you be able to help out on our stand as well , reason being I wanna let Martin have a go in the AE if he can , he has wanted too the last 2 events but has sacrificed it as we were short on our stand, if anyone else can help out too that would be absolutely bad ass !

Just to clarify, Malika, Darren and I are organising the event and when we had a meeting at the NSC a couple of weekends ago the concensus was that all the displays were to be Alien props and items only, not movie props in general.
So any Alien franchise stuff is most welcome. I think there is room for that so Darren will chime in and confirm when he reads this as he's co-ordinating the displays and tables.

ADC is right, the weekend is being kept Aliens only. I think there may have been some confusion about who was going to contact the RPB guys though. Anyway, hopefully you will be there as usual and if you can put an Aliens related prop display together it would be most welcome and very appreciated.

Just checked my e mails , Malika asked us if we were interested in doing this event in March and we said yes , since then no one has told us otherwise !!!

We had a lot of alien related stuff in preperation, maverick118 (Martin) in particular has been working on a few things for this including a motion tracker and a dallas uniform from Alien and I was working on a possible pulse rifle workshop.

Would be good to hear something definate from someone on this either way , we could join your display if you want or do a very small display on the side Alien/ aliens only ?

Thanks for clarifiying mate and apologies if there's been any misunderstanding. We'll talk with Malika in the morning and see what she thinks. Let us know here what the Pulse Rifle workshop entails, it sounds interesting (not to mention cool). Pulse rifle was gonna be a cheap airsoft thompson and spas 12 with the rest scratchbuilt from MDF plastic and metal , probably not 100% accurate but good enough as something for the punters to see. Martin has a Dallas uniform he has been making with his girlfriend and was working on a motion tracker which he is scratchbuilding, he also has marine armour with pulsey and an MR motion tracker. I also have a lot of Aliens magazines and books from the time of the films release I was going to bring .
