The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I always thought Hadrian's Wall was your unit name as on the patch it doesn't say HMS or USS Hadrians Wall. Also, on the members page of the UKCM site everyone has the unit name listed at the end of their entry and this said "Hadrians Wall" on your entries hence why I thought this was your unit name as opposed to ship name.

If that is your ship name then I dont see why giving yourselves a unit name would require changing the patches that Fraz has already been good enough to do for you.

The reason Rev posted this thread originally was because of the ID Cards coming up. If you want 1st Batt. 42nd Regt and beneath that Hadrians Wal then that's fine or if you want a different "unit name" below then as Rev said you need to come up with one to use.

Cheers

Darren

I think the reason behind a lack of "USS" or whatever is that some prefer "HMS", and others like me dislike the thought of attaching ourselves to the royal family and would prefer "United Systems Ship"...
We'll see how this whole independance thing works out ;)

HMS or USS wasn't really the point of my post above mate. Whilst I personally think that it would be good to maintain some uniformity across the different Units I guess it is up to you guys what you want to do with regards to that.

Anyway, I wasnt trying to raise that as an issue.

Cheers

Darren

Fair do's :)
Uniformity in regalia was my reason for posting this anyway, as the ID cards you did don't mention ship names, just regiment nicknames...

I quite like 'Hadrian's Wall' as it is really...

Thinking about it, no reason we can't use it for both...
The ship is the "United Systems Ship 'Hadrian's Wall'", and us grunts are collectively known as "The Wall".

Or "Bricks" ;)

HEY! CREATURE! LEAVE THOSE JUICY COLONIST'S DAUGHTERS ALONE!
