The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

See, Rich has nailed it on the head.

Basically the design isn't so much a Aliens 25th Anniversary shirt as it is a UKCM 5th Anniversary shirt.

The NSC event this year marks the 5th Anniversary of the UKCM, who, despite many hardships, both internal and external are STILL going. The UKCM has become a close knit community that has worked together through good and bad times, been round the whole and done so many good things, that honestly, I lost track.

The shirt, showing Marine, Predator and Alien working together to plant the flag is a tribute to the UKCM members, who have never compromised the ideals or spirit of the group, worked together, helped each other and achieved amazing things.

I and Bazfish (who I think I can speak for on this matter) are very proud of what the members of the group have done, and this shirt is for them.

Now, I am off for a bit of a cry :P

I almost passed out from the gayness in that post.

Like the idea alot Paul.

I think once you add colour it will look alot better as just pencil lines can not give any real depth.

Design looks fantastic Paul and seeing it evolve from first idea is even more facinating!

Is there a prize for guessing who that might be? If so would it involve a speech bubble saying "Don't forget it was my idea"?

I really hope not. I don't want a shirt with anything to do with that whole sorry mess on it.

Nah, I'm guessing it'll be someone in a trek costume that they'll be sticking the pole into.
I have been the butt of a few jokes due to my trek customes :)
PErsonally, I think it's jealously, mine are so easy to transport and are not as hot n sweaty as marine or bug costumes. Hence why I think I'll be a little more comfortable in Atlanta

I dunno how comfortable I'd feel dressed up in a star trek Leotard, atlanta or no ;)

[As everyone is aware, my nerd herder costume is like wearing nothing at all :p - Hell, with a change of tie and a baseball bat, it's also a falling down costume!]
