Fish and family (yes, including the all POWERFUL Lisa) booked and confirmed. We will be coming up by train Friday evening (arriving 10pm) and staying at the PTI County Hall which is next to Waterloo station right by the London Eye. At the moment we are there on the Friday night and then staying at the PTI Kensington Sat night, but my next call is trying to blag both nights at County Hall even though the web sez no Family rooms available.

In short I offer County Hall Premier Travel Inn as an alternative drop point for anybody not booked in to the Rat and Cockroach Hotel the rest are staying in by Earls Court. Can highly recommend the County Hall... double glazed rooms and good food... makes up for the bit ouch price

Any ideas for the meal Saturday night? As it is MY BIRTHDAY WEEKEND (hint hint... all cheques payable to Mrs L Smith) I AM NOT SPENDING IT IN A FRAKKIN KFC!!!

Additional additional... This will be make or break for my attempt to go to Dragon Con. I need Lisa to see that the people who I am going with are of "good character" and can be trusted. For that reason the following must not be mentioned... Bad news chaps. I don't think I can make it.

Ranger Smith has decided he doesn't want to go so I'm stuck trying to get up to London on my own and won't have anywhere to stay.

Getting up there is probably the easy part but I'm going to need somewhere to sleep. Anyone got a spare bit of floor I can crash on? I'm house trained and don't eat much.
