Now, first off, I need to know which role in the AE you intend to play.

Secondly, I need to know WHEN you are turning up at the NSC (day and ETA) We have access to the Challenger Suite from early Friday morning.

Thirdy- all marines participating, you need to have a torch of some sort fitted to your pulse rifle. A taclight or similar, small, descreet and with a good intense narrow beam. This is essential for the smoke filled corridor and room.

I won't be available as a 'Marine' per se.

I can give you Marine in BDUs (ie no armour or weapon), Dropship Pilot (Spunkmeyer style, with baseball cap) or something simpler like a planted member of the public (if you have such things).
Additionally, Claire could do one of the latter two. She screams rather well....

Due to work commitments, our ETA is around 8pm Friday evening.

Me, Claymore, Boltrig and Azriel are leaving Glasgow about 10am on Friday... ETA 5ish I think?
I'm sure Boltie and Azriel would be up for stepping in as well if they can be of use. Kat's certainly good at shouting at people - We have two kids after all...

I got a pen LED there got a good beam on it and can hid inside the top vent , triangle below the barrel.

theres not alot of room in there Steve, and a few shoulder lamps got broken last time. thats why the torches were a better idea

This will be a good test of the eye sight on my helmet.

I got to fix my armour this week and make the headband inside the helmet alot softer.

Rich so shoulder lamps take a beating than.

The other reason for the torches on PRs is because the script calls on the Marines to aim the light to bring certain things to the audience's attention in the dark.

Shoulder lamps are fine, but between the cramped conditions of the airlock (remember to duck ...) and the wandering fingerlongers of attacking Aliens, loads got broken in previous AEs.

Actually I said I would do one of the console operators. Not bothered which one.

I normally play grunt 3 but can play grunt one or grunt two

I'll be happy to play the part of Sarge again. I won't be there till quite late on the Friday but I think I'll be fine with one or two quick run throughs either Fri night if I make it in time or on the Saturday morning.

Here are the suggested times for the AE:

12:00 Alien Encounter (1) CLC
12:30 Alien Encounter (1) CLC
13:00 Alien Encounter (1) CLC
13:30 Alien Encounter (1) CLC
14:00 Alien Encounter (2) CLC
14:30 Alien Encounter (2) CLC
15:00 Alien Encounter (2) CLC
15:30 Alien Encounter (2) CLC

So each team will do four shows each day starting at lunchtime and ending in time to take part in the final walk down.

This will give us some time Saturday morning as well as Friday for run throughs.

We might need a volunteer for a bit of backstage button pushing for a couple of the sessions.
