National Space Centre Special Guests Christmas Party
 
This event is open to all not-for-profit groups who have worked with the National Space Centre on special event weekends throughout 2011.
 
If you would like to participate in Movie Mania, an event dedicated to iconic movie characters, just contact marketing@spacecentre.co.uk and come along for the last big event of the year.
 
Due to the changes to the Movie Mania event in 2011 the National Space Centre will be taking a fee for traders to buy a pitch at the event.
 
This will generate money that the National Space Centre would like to use to subsidise a Christmas Party Celebration night for all groups participating in events over the year.
 
Saturday 3 December 2011 @ the National Space Centre
 
19:00​Arrive at the National Space Centre and get ready for launch with a ​futuristic space cocktail, served in the iconic 42m high Rocket Tower.
20:00​Take your seats in the hub of our interactive galleries and sit beneath ​soaring satellites, as we serve a three course meal.
22:00​Complete your mission with freshly brewed tea/coffee served with ​warm mince pies.
22:00​Dance the night away under the stars for an out of this world end to a ​perfect evening

PREPARATION
Eastern Spiced Roast Parsnip Soup served with freshly baked rolls and butter
 
LAUNCH
Turkey escalope filled with an apricot and sultana stuffing, wrapped in bacon, served withgarlic and rosemary roast baby potatoes and fresh seasonal market vegetables

Mushroom, chestnut and brie filo strudel, served with
a creamed cauliflower sauce
 
LANDING
Christmas Chocolate Bomb: A white chocolate mousse
stippled with Christmas pudding pieces, encased in a chocolate shell
