Hello all,

Ive just been speaking with ADC about photos at the fast approaching NSC event.
I have been asked to do the photo booth for people to have their pictures taken with the stars.
This is subject to a very small time frame (13:00 - 14:30) on both days, to allow the celebs to return to the signing tables.

However, as I will have all the kit at the event to produce high quality images printed at 6x9 on the day,
and I know there will be a lot of you in costume over the course of the weekend,
I wanted to know if you would be interested if I opened the booth for costume photos (without celebs) from 11:00-13:00?
I would be looking to charge £5 a print.
This ofcourse could include solo, or small group shots.

I know you are all on a shoe-string budget after D-Con, and already having to pay for hotels, the meal on Saturday night, fuel, beers..........
Hence asking the quesion now, so I can plan my movements over the weekend.

If there is no real interest, the booth will only be open for the photos with the celebs, to allow me to drift around the event.

I'd be up for that. However, at NSC, I'm busy just about all weekend ...

However, I'd like a chance to get all the Xenos together for a really great photo.

At a later date, I'd like get us Xenos together at a really great location for a more elaborate shoot. However, I'm stuck for ideas and free time at the moment.

I was hoping that by opening the booth for the photos over the lunch period this would allow people to pop in for some photos even if otherwise busy during the day.
As all the lights would be set up, it should take no more than 5-10 min for a couple of pics.

Im not trying to make money out of this, purely cover the costs.
So, yeah, £5 per 9x6 print.
I am aware that ADC also wants to arrange a massive group photo outside the venue on the Saturday.
I could also make these photos available for printing on the Sunday, if that would be of interest?

I should clarify that the photos with the celebs will cost £15 each (as the celebs take their own cut).
The £5 price is for the NONE celeb pics only.

Thats a very good question.
And I have to be honest, im sure ADC knows the answer, and already told me, but my sleep deprived brain cant recall it.
I think they would all want their cut which would make a single picture fairly pricey.
But I feel that this was the purpose of the outdoor group shot on the Saturday.

So atm the only thing I can be sure of is the fact that :
Photo with a single celeb (13:00 - 14:30) = £15
Photo without a celeb (11:00 - 13:00) = £5

It is of note that the celeb photos are only being done for 90 minutes per day, during which time 5 different celebs will take an even share (~15 minutes).
This means there will be limited places for photos with the celebs.
One of the jobs on my "To do" list over the next day or so is to work out how many photos I can practically take in that time.

Just to clarify there are no group celeb shots planned, only individual ones. The price would be the same as for all the individual shots put together. I doubt we would have time to do this anyway with the window we are working within.

I'm liking this idea. Wouldn't mind getting a group shot in costume with some of my fellow marines. Just hope their up for it. If not....tough their doing it anyway
