I was wondering if any of you UK members have been to the new Alien War. I'm sure all of you know already that it reopened about a year ago in Glasgow, that's where I attended it.

What was your thought on it? Did you like it?

I've never been to the original one but when I saw the new one I was very disappointed, it was one of their first shows, still in need of improvement. My girfriend who was originally at the very first Alien War in Glasgow and loved it (before the famous one in London) hated the new one too. The main issue for both of us was the high price for the very short length of the show (about 8 minutes regardless what they say about the 10-15 minutes run). Secondly it's not really Fox-related so no Colonial Marines and no pulse rifles (apparently Fox was asking an exagerate price).

After some months I happened to be again in Glasgow and I gave it another chance (my girlfriend preferred to wait outside LOL!) and I must say they improved it a lot both in length (about 12 minutes this time) and in settings (new props were added and better detailed scenarios).

What was your experience? I've heard that now is running in Liverpool, anyone have been there? Anyone of you WORKING in it?

I'm guessing you searched for Alien War, when in fact it's called Alien Wars, so searching for Alien Wars Glasgow would have found the right thread.

I'm used to TOTALLY different environments how's the swearing dealt with around here?

None permitted, although a few in the US say "Piss", but they don't class that as swearing over there.
